Out Front Merchandising is a cutting-edge leader and provider of merchandising, general labor, and quality service workers. The Regional Merchandiser position includes working in rural lifestyle stores, and large home goods & improvement retailers.  The position offers 40 hours per week based on availability and nationwide travel.

The Reset Merchandiser will be responsible for large-scale rearrangement of a store’s products by stocking or restocking a product according to a new plan. This may necessitate tearing down and rebuilding whole sections of the store; the merchandiser must be able to follow a planogram, or diagram, of the new shelf or display. Resets can be quite large and complex, and completing them successfully requires merchandisers to be able to complete the work on schedule and according to plan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with Clients and Customers.
  • Set up store fixtures, gondola shelving & peg hooks, relocation of gondola shelving.
  • Ability to implement retail schematics and merchandising materials as assigned.
  • Participate in team tasks.
  • Schematic implementation: compliance and shelf conditions
  • Implement customer-approved schematics/Plan-O-Grams, tagging all items, rotating, placing products on shelves, and obtaining management approval.
  • Cross-merchandising execution.
  • Free-hand merchandising in absence of an accurate planogram
  • Build relationships with store personnel and the management team
  • Follows company policies, procedures, and position responsibilities.
  • Performs stores/tasks in an efficient/cost-effective manner.

 

Position Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of Retail Experience
  • Access to reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to maintain and use basic hand tools, to include an 18v Impact Driver.
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-starter/highly motivated
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays
  • Planogram literacy a plus
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and web navigation.
  • Drug Test and Background Check
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, push 75 pounds and work a shift while standing.
  • 40 hours per week, overtime as needed
